We are so thankful that our sponsorship support has been so strong this year!! Thank you to all of you that are part of our Pearl River Family!!!! We love you all for what you are doing for our babies in China!!!! You are making a difference in their lives!!

We have four children that need just one sponsor each! Every month our needs change as families are up for renewal... The cost to sponsor is $35per month.. This fee goes towards food, clothing, training for foster families and loving shelter for your child. Our medical staff visits each child monthly to make sure things are going well, or to assist where necessary. Our goal is to give our children the opportunity to thrive in a loving environment, thus preparing them for their forever families one day!

My Goal for our Babies...

Since I joined Pearl River Outreach in September my goal has been to see our Bamboo Babies sponsored 100%. I signed on to give these children a hope and a future. Over the past four months I have watched God work. He has brought so many of you into our program. For that, I/we are so thankful!

Many of you know that I am waiting for our Travel Authorization to go to China and bring our third daughter, Sienna Grace home.... Before I go, my prayer is that our sponsorships will be complete! We only have TWO spots left...

I can not finish 2009 without thanking all of our Bamboo Baby Sponsors. You have generously given our children hope and love this year! We go into 2010 in a wonderful position to take care of our children. We are working towards adding to our staff on the ground in China which has been a goal for a long time! So, thank you for your support, and for spreading the word about our precious children and our program.

As we begin the new year we only have 7 open sponsor spots. Which is truly wonderful news. I believe with your help we can fill this need. Remember it costs $35.00 per month to sponsor a Bamboo Baby. Thanks to Jamison's sponsor, I am not too late in posting a great big Happy Birthday to him! Every photo I see of this precious boy he is smiling!!! What a blessing! Today, Jamison turned 5! We pray he finds his forever family this year!

And, his Bamboo Baby pal turned 2 on Thanksgiving Day! Happy Belated Birthday Olivia! We hope this is a very special year for you too!!!

The Meadows Gifts of Love!

The photos below, are an example of what happens when a loving group of people come together to bless another. It shows how the gift of love can make the world of difference in the life of an orphan. I wonder what they would say if they truly understood that six special people a world away, planned, prayed over, packed and shipped these special gifts to them. This was a humble act of loving kindness by one of our sponsor familes and their Bible Study Small Group. Our Bamboo Babies Need Your Help!!

Welcome back to the Pearl River Blog. As you can see we have had a little makeover! We are so thrilled with what the talented Design Girl did for us! Thank you Danielle!

My name is Diana and I am the newest member of the PRO team. I am thrilled to be here. I am blessed to have two children, one who is from China. I have a heart for orphans, and the opportunity to give back in this way is an awesome blessing for me! One year ago a friend asked me to help with the sponsorship of a Bamboo Baby. I was so touched to be asked to help. $35.00 a month seemed like so little to provide food, shelter, and love to another. I hope you will feel the same way, and that you will join our Pearl River Family today.

Our goal is to have 4 sponsor families per child. This allows us to keep the cost of sponsorship low while meeting the rising costs of formula, and overall support of our children. Below are our precious Bamboo Babies that need sponsors immediately!

(You can email me the name of the child you would like, or you can make a note on your paypal order too.) You can set up your account to pay monthly, quarterly, or annually. You can use PayPal, or you can send a check to PRO. If you choose to pay monthly or quarterly, your account will be automatically deducted after the first payment. As a sponsor you will get quarterly updates and a photo of your child. If you aren't interested in sponsoring a child, but would like to help, there are so many other ways. A donation to honor a friend or family member is a great way to give a gift! This is my new favorite birthday gift for my friends!

We will do our best to honor your wishes to sponsor a specific child. Our goal is for all of our Bamboo Babies to be loved until they can be adopted. When your child is placed with their forever family, we will joyfully notify you and assign another one of our kiddos to your family!
