We have two great ways to get involved during this season of Thanksgiving! First, sponsor one of our Bamboo Babies. I promise you will be blessed! Secondly, give to our "Meadows Gift of Love" project and help some special children in Changsha this month!

Another great way to help... At Pearl River we are blessed with wonderful sponsors who truly want to make a difference in the lives of the children! The Meadows Group has put together an event to bless 88 orphans in the Changsha Welfare Institute where we have several Pearl River babies. Here is how you can help get us to our goal of $1000! Chip In for the Bamboo Babies!!

Does a simple act of kindness ever make you cry? Does the opportunity to bless another, surprise you by how much it ends up blessing you? Do you ever wonder why we have so much and some have so little....

Today I received an email from one of our sponsors, Debbie. Her precious daughter has been very sick for the past year with a rare form of Aplastic Anemia. While they await news of a potential bone marrow transplant for Hannah, Debbie is thinking of others. She has put together the "Precious Treasures" fundraiser for the Bamboo Babies... And, then there is another sponsor group, the Meadows group. Their hearts are so big that they have approached us about blessing 88 orphans in the Changsha Welfare Institute where we have several Pearl River babies. In fact we just received two more babies this week, (new arrival photos coming soon!) We are naming this project "The Meadows Gift of Love Project." The goal is to raise $1000 by December 1st to send out 88 care packages for Christmas to the children. Here is how you can include these kiddos on your Christmas/Holiday list:

The Meadows Gifts of Love!

The photos below, are an example of what happens when a loving group of people come together to bless another. It shows how the gift of love can make the world of difference in the life of an orphan. I wonder what they would say if they truly understood that six special people a world away, planned, prayed over, packed and shipped these special gifts to them. This was a humble act of loving kindness by one of our sponsor familes and their Bible Study Small Group. On behalf of PRO, I personally want to thank you Jennifer, Bridgett, Heath, Roman, Jordan, and Scott!
