Does a simple act of kindness ever make you cry? Does the opportunity to bless another, surprise you by how much it ends up blessing you? Do you ever wonder why we have so much and some have so little....
Today I received an email from one of our sponsors, Debbie. Her precious daughter has been very sick for the past year with a rare form of Aplastic Anemia. While they await news of a potential bone marrow transplant for Hannah, Debbie is thinking of others. She has put together the "Precious Treasures" fundraiser for the Bamboo Babies... You can check it out here.. And, why you are there please pray for this family! Thank you Debbie & Satu!
(You can order this beautiful print depicting two sisters (one from China) at Debbie's site)
And, then there is another sponsor group, the Meadows group. Their hearts are so big that they have approached us about blessing 88 orphans in the Changsha Welfare Institute where we have several Pearl River babies. In fact we just received two more babies this week, (new arrival photos coming soon!) We are naming this project "The Meadows Gift of Love Project." The goal is to raise $1000 by December 1st to send out 88 care packages for Christmas to the children. Here is how you can include these kiddos on your Christmas/Holiday list:
- Make a donation at the Chip In bar on the right! You use PayPal to donate directly to this fund. Any amount great or small, will be a blessing!!
Or Donate:
- Towels - The children use these for comfort/lovies instead of blankets
- 0-2T Socks
- 0-2T Hats
- 0-2T Mittens
- Children's Toothbrushes/Toothpaste (The Dollar Store sells a combo!)
- 2-3T Underwear
- Crayons, Small Coloring Books
Physical Item donations should be sent to arrive by December 11th too:

We are trying to collect cans and soda bottles from anyone we can. In NY we will soon be able to get a deposit for water bottles. Now that will be big!!!People are not collecting deposits from them now so if I can get to them first.........!!! All money will be going to help us sponsor Ainsley and the rest will go wherever you think it needs to!!!
